Damage caps in Idaho

Idaho Code § 6-1603 sets a $250,000 base limit on noneconomic damages and requires an adjustment each July 1 tied to the state average annual wage. The amount was $509,013.28 from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026; consult the Idaho Industrial Commission for the amount effective on the claim date. Willful or reckless misconduct and acts constituting a felony are excluded.
