Claimelo

About Claimelo

Claimelo exists because of an information imbalance: insurance companies value thousands of claims a year with data and software, while the injured person values exactly one: theirs: with no reference points. We publish the reference points.

Our methodology

Our settlement ranges are editorial reference estimates. We do not publish a claim-level dataset that establishes them as measured averages. Illustrative scenarios explain claim factors and should not be treated as documented case results. State-law citations support the legal summaries, not the dollar estimates.

Our injury settlement calculator applies a multiplier model to the costs entered and uses state-rule adjustments. This is a simplified planning model, not an insurer's valuation system. Real outcomes depend on evidence, available insurance coverage, venue, and negotiation: variables no calculator can capture.

Who writes this

Claimelo is researched and written by the Claimelo Editorial Team, which specializes in consumer-facing explanations of the injury claim process. The state-law pages cite sources for their legal summaries. Editorial estimates and hypothetical scenarios serve a different purpose: explaining factors to consider when evaluating a claim. Content is fact-checked by Claimelo's editorial team. We publish no sponsored content and accept no payment to alter the information on any page.

General legal information, not legal advice. Claimelo is not a law firm. Laws and deadlines depend on your circumstances and may change. Consult a licensed attorney about your situation.
